2. General information on data processing

We generally only process personal data of our users to the extent necessary to provide a functioning website along with our content and services. Personal data is regularly only processed with the consent of the user or where a legal provision permits it.

3. Hosting

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA. When you access the website, the hosting provider automatically collects information in what are known as server log files, which your browser transmits, such as IP address, date and time of the request, page accessed, referrer URL and browser type. This data is technically required to deliver the website and ensure system security (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR); it is not combined with other data sources. Where data is transferred to the USA, Vercel states that it relies on EU standard contractual clauses and/or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

4. Cookies

This website sets exactly one cookie (cd_locale), which stores only your chosen language (German/English) for twelve months. It serves no analytics or tracking purpose and is not shared with third parties. Because it is technically necessary for the basic function of the site, no separate consent is required for it pursuant to § 25 (2) no. 2 TTDSG. This website sets no other cookies.

5. Fonts (Google Fonts)

The Google fonts used on this website are already embedded into the application when it is built and are delivered exclusively from our own server when the page is loaded. At no point is a connection made to Google servers, and no data is transmitted to Google.

6. Contact form

If you send us enquiries via the contact form, the details you provide in the enquiry form, including the contact details you give there (name, email address, optionally company) and your message, are processed by us for the purpose of handling the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, provided your enquiry is aimed at entering into a contract, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries).

The email is sent via the service provider Resend (Resend Inc., USA) as a processor. A data processing agreement is in place with Resend; EU standard contractual clauses apply to the transfer to the USA. Your details are deleted as soon as the enquiry has been finally resolved and no statutory retention obligations apply.

7. Domain analyses and source lookups

The platform’s actual analysis function (including Analyzer, Portfolio Intelligence, Radar) processes the domain names you enter in order to query publicly accessible registers, including RDAP registration data, the EUIPO trademark register, NameBio sales statistics and the GLEIF company register. The subject of these lookups is the domain name entered, not your identity as a website visitor.

8. Your rights

Subject to statutory provisions, you have the following rights against us: right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR), and right to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). 9. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority regarding our processing of your personal data. The competent authority is, for example, the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.

We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy so that it always complies with current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services in the policy.
